Do you know how to go from a pile of unstructured documents to precise, auditable business decisions? During this workshop, together with experts from Trek2Summit and TD SYNNEX, you’ll build an advanced AI-agent-based assistant capable of analyzing documents, detecting key information, and suggesting decisions based on specific guidelines (policy-grounding).
Although the workshop scenario is set in the world of insurance (underwriting), you will learn universal design patterns that you can apply in any industry requiring intelligent data analysis and process automation.
The Anatomy of an Agent-Based Application – An Overview of Laboratories
The three laboratories guide users step by step through the solution architecture, document analysis, and the decision-making layer based on rules and risk assessment.

You can configure an agent that automatically detects key facts in documents, generates structured JSON data, and—most importantly—always cites the sources of its findings. Focus: Data Extraction, JSON, and Quotability |

You will build a logic layer that calculates risk scores based on guidelines and prepares decision justifications ready for human review. Focus: Risk Scoring and Decision Justification |
Requirements
Basic knowledge of Python and a general understanding of AWS services (S3, Lambda).
Optional: your own laptop (you will also be able to use a computer provided by AGH in the lab where the workshop will take place).
