What will the first lecture be about?
Air cargo handling employees manually transcribe container numbers up to 100,000 times a month —each operation takes about 30 seconds and is often performed in environments with limited internet access.
During the presentation, we’ll show how we used AWS to test and fine-tune open-source computer vision models, and then deployed them directly in a browser as a PWA. As a result, the solution works entirely offline, without the need to upload data to the cloud and without any server-side inference costs.
This is a practical case study demonstrating how to effectively transition computer vision from the experimental stage to a real-world operational process.
